Evoking a touch of nature and celebrating natural materials, the Gravel rug combines undyed wool fibers with an unexpected weaving technique that adds depth and complexity to the design.

Looking at nature and its infinite manifestations, the Gravel rug, designed by Nina Bruun for MENU, represents the values ​​that make a house a home: warm, welcoming and comfortable. Carefully crafted from natural wool fibres, seen up close, its soft, alternating loops evoke the feeling of walking on a pebble beach. But, seen from a distance, the surface of the carpet seems to undulate like a field of corn blowing in the wind. The tactile surface is achieved using a technique whereby tonal woolen threads of different sizes are wound into tufts. The natural material softens the overall expression of the rug, which will work in any context, from private homes to public spaces.
