The small version of the Cesta lamp is defined by a smaller section in its wooden structure, always carefully polished and firmly assembled, which houses a small opal glass globe where its light is sheltered. This design, which constitutes an object-lamp that creates spaces of pleasure wherever it is located, has become one of the most popular international icons of its author.
Based on the traditional lantern that illuminates houses on the coast, country estates and open terraces, the Basket is one of the most iconic lamps created by Miguel Milá. This object-lamp finds its place either on a table or on the floor, a light that accompanies. Composed of a subtle cherry structure that protects the opal glass globe, diffuser of its light.
It is produced manually, by European artisans, using the traditional techniques of steaming wood for its bending, which is carefully polished and firmly assembled. And despite its peculiarity, or precisely because of it, its appearance and its function are still fully valid today.
